Conical Cup Pigs
PolyEurope's Conical Pigs are designed for removal of debris, liquid evacuation, product separation, batching, displacement cleaning, and gauging operations over long pigging runs and multi diameter lines ( reduction upto 20% ). PolyEurope's Conical Pigs are especially effective when encountering pipe ovality and varying pipe wall thickness. PolyEurope's Conical Cup Pigs are still a popular style of pig for offshore lines and in use with a large number of pipeline operators. The heavy cup design maintains a constant seal due to maximum flexibility, whilst aggressively scraping the pipeline bore during the full pig run. The range is available from 4" through to 14" with a single steel body bolt design and from 8" through 56" with a multi bolt design. The general purpose design is supplied with two , three or four Conical Cups which proves successful proved in the removal of light and medium deposits from pipe walls. This cleaning ability can be further enhanced by the addition of brushes ( several grades of brushes available), plough blades made of polyurethane, pin wheel cups and studded pin discs. Additional options include the attachment of magnets (for debris collection), gauge plates ( solid or segmented design) and transmitter / data logger housings or spider noses for flow bypass or jetting . All PolyEurope's Conical Cup Pigs are supplied with a polyurethane bumper nose at front as standard. All PolyEurope's conical pig body assemblies are welded to code standard BS EN ISO 15614-1 2004 with optionally welds being subjected to NDT testing (MPI) afterwards and coated with an anti-corrosion protection coating.

Scraper Cup Pigs

The cup design is derived from the hydraulic piston seal and aggressively scrapes the pipeline bore while maintaining a constant seal.
