Hydro Pigs
PolyEurope offers a range of Hydro Pigs which are used for displacement of water or air in pipeline pigging processes. With excellent sealing abilities in all circumstances, the Hydro Pipeline Pig range is available from 4" to 12" with a single body bolt design and from 12" to 56" with a multi bolt design. The general purpose design is supplied with two 'sandwich' packages consisting of polyurethane elastomeric sealing discs and polyurethane high density foam discs; these are used for high performance sealing, as well as drive discs. This design proves most successful in pipeline pigging dewatering operations. Additional options include the attachment of a transmitter / data logger housings. The PolyEurope Hydro Pig range is supplied with a polyurethane bumper nose at each end as standard. The multi bolt pig body assemblies are welded to code standard BS EN ISO 15614-1 2004 with optionally welds being subjected to NDT testing (MPI) afterwards and coated with an anti-corrosion surface protection coating. Bi-Directional Pigs
PolyEurope's Bi-Directional pigs are designed to be used for hydrostatic testing, displacement of water or air, removal of debris , liquid evacuation and/or product separation. Scraper Cup Pigs
PolyEurope's standard Cup Pigs are designed for removal of pipeline debris, liquid evacuation, product separation, batching, displacement, cleaning, and gauging operations. The cup design is derived from the hydraulic piston seal and aggressively scrapes the pipeline bore while maintaining a constant seal. The range is available from 4" through to 14" with a single steel body bolt design and from 6" through 56" with a multi bolt design. The general purpose design is supplied with four scraper cups and is successful in removing light to medium deposits from pipe walls. This cleaning ability can be further enhanced by the addition of brushes (several grades of brushes available), plough blades made of polyurethane, pin wheel cups or studded pin discs. Conical Cup Pigs
PolyEurope's Conical Pigs are designed for removal of debris, liquid evacuation, product separation, batching, displacement cleaning, and gauging operations over long pigging runs and multi diameter lines ( reduction upto 20% ). PolyEurope's Conical Pigs are especially effective when encountering pipe ovality and varying pipe wall thickness. PolyEurope's Conical Cup Pigs are still a popular style of pig for offshore lines and in use with a large number of pipeline operators. The heavy cup design maintains a constant seal due to maximum flexibility, whilst aggressively scraping the pipeline bore during the full pig run.
